Requirements

1 . 1. Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)

2 . 2. Pre-Marriage Counseling Certificate

3 . 3. Birth Certificate of Applicant

4 . 4. Baptismal Certificate of Applicant

5 . 5. Affidavit of Abandonment

6 . 6. Posting Period(10 days)

7 . 7. Application for Marriage License Fee (Local) PHP 300

8 . 8. Application for Marriage License Fee (Foreign National) PHP 1,000

9 . 9. License Fee PHP 2

10 . For ages 18-20:

 *Consent of the Father (MF No. 92) 

*Consent of the Mother if the father is deceased or 

*Consent of the Guardian if both parents are deceased.

 *Death Certificate of parents. 

11 . For ages 21-25

 *Parental advice of parents if both are living. (MF No.68) 

*Death Certificate of parents. 

*Person having legal charge.

 *If parental advice cannot be obtained or 

*If the parents refuses to sign, the marriage license will be issued after three (3) months following completion of the publication. 

Note: “The advice upon the intended marriage of couple not having been obtained or having been refused, the marriage shall not take place till after three months following  completion of the publication, on date of the application for the marriage license.” 

12 . For ages 26 and above

 *Personal Appearance of Mother or Father of the applicant’s may sign ( MF No.65)

 *Bring 2 witnesses. (MF No.91) 

13 . For Foreigners

 *Legal Capacity to contract marriage or Certificate of no Impediment from his/her consular office in the Philippines. 

*Photocopy of Passport – includes arrival – departure entries. 

Procedures

1 . Sign in the Client Log Book in the office

2 . Submit the checklist to Desk 3 for initial assessment

3 . Return to City Civil Registrar’s Office to submit the required documents

4 . Fill-up required forms

5 . Pay the required fees at the City Treasurer’s Office by showing the order of payment

6 . Return to the City Civil Registrar’s Office with the Official Receipt

7 . Receive the Marriage License
